A group of young Romanian programmers has launched an online platform that wants to bring together buyers interested in Romanian food and local producers of agri-food products. The PiataNoastra.ro platform wants to shorten and facilitate the route of food products of domestic production to the final customer, eliminating from the process the intermediary and the high prices. Also, the initiators of the project say that there will be no commercial addition for the products listed on the site. The project’s founders are Teodosiu Mihai (29 years), Radu Ursache (32 years) and Alex Ionescu (32 years).
