The warmer weather than the historical averages of the period and the high degree of the high volume of stored gas have led to the price collapse in spot markets in the last month. The trend accelerated in the last week of December, when the price of one MWh of gas fell by 28 lei below the regulated one, an absolute record on the spot market in Romania.
