The most recent data of the National Institute of Statistics show a good evolution of the milk and dairy market in Romania, as well as a significant decrease of the imports of raw milk. The consumption of milk consumption increased by 7.4% in January- November 2019, an advance of 20,631 tonnes, while the import of raw milk decreased by 15.2%, a decrease of 17,380 tonnes, compared to the similar period of last year, according to the data of the National Institute of Statistics published on Wednesday.
