The 10 largest companies in the local cleaning market concentrated 16% of the total turnover of the industry in 2018 and are 100% owned by Romanian individuals and legal entities, according to the analysis of a consulting company. In terms of the turnover of the local cleaning services market (whether it is cleaning maintenance, general cleaning or post-construction), it increased by 21% compared to 2017 and 120% compared to 2009, reaching to 1.8 billion lei in 2018.
