Iasi is ranked second in all Europe (50 sovereign states) in the ranking of the growth rate of tech communities.

“Europe continues to experience the geographic diversity in the top 20 fastest growing technology hubs. Iasi, the city of Romania where the American tech giant Amazon has opened offices, ranks second among the fastest growing technology communities”, states the report of the State of European Technology, realized by the British investment fund Atomico, one of the largest investors in European technology startups.
