Construction works in Romania registered a 24% increase in November 2019, compared to November 2018, this being the highest advance among EU member states, data released by Eurostat on Friday shows. Comparatively, both in the euro area and in the European Union, construction works registered a 1.4% increase annually. Among the EU member states, construction works registered the highest increases in Romania (24%), Hungary (6.8%) and Germany (4.8%) and the most significant decreases were registered in Slovakia (minus 9 , 6%), Slovenia (minus 8.4%) and Spain (minus 3%).
