The turnover of the industry in total (internal market and external market), in nominal terms, increased in January 2020, compared to the previous month, by 0.9%, and compared with the similar period of the previous year by 6%, reveals data published by the National Institute of Statistics (INS) on Friday. Thus, the turnover in the industry increased as a result of the increase in the turnover registered in the manufacturing industry (+ 1.7%). The extractive industry decreased by 20.2%.
