Romania was the only main market in Central and Eastern Europe which did not show a significant decrease in the annual return on investment. The office buildings sector dominated the transactional activity with 74% of the total volume, followed by the retail sector. Most CEE countries have reached new investment thresholds: Poland holds the highest share (38%), followed by Austria (30%) and the Czech Republic (15%).
