Romanian car market: strong growth in demand for electric and hybrid

Data on vehicle registrations in Romania show that, despite a decrease in percentages, registrations increased compared to previous months, even if compared to the same month in 2019 the volume is lower. A large increase of 38.6% was registered for 100% electric cars and a much more consistent one, of 115.1%, for plug-in hybrid cars. At the same time, hybrid cars that have electric propulsion (mild hybrid ones are not included), register after the first 7 months of 2020, a decrease (-11.5%).
