Romanians made purchases totaling more than 1.2 billion lei during the period November 15-17, 2019, Black Weekend, of which 245 million lei represented online payments and the rest cash payments upon delivery, according to the analysis of PayU company. Spent online, 245 million lei, was 24% higher compared to 2018, setting a new record. 499,632 transactions were generated in the PayU Romania system, an increase of 33% compared to last year. About 80% of these expenses, respectively 198 million lei, were recorded on Friday, November 15th.
