SMEs with businesses under 50,000 euros manage to have the best profitability rate among micro-enterprises. IT&C remains in 3rd place, slightly increasing

Companies with turnover below 50,000 euros had the best profitability among micro-enterprises in 2018, with a gross margin of 32% and a net margin of 30.4%, shows a study conducted by Instant Factoring. Although overall the net profit of the sector decreased by 5% compared to the previous year, the evolution of the last 10 years is positive, SMEs constantly improving their net profit margin by 10 percentage points, up to 21.5%, the equivalent of 28.2 billion lei.
