In recent months we are facing an international phenomenon of which only from the history books we have heard: the unprecedented expansion of a virus with real implications for society – COVID-19. The development of events has revealed a number of aspects that show us how vulnerable we are both not from a biological point of view, but also with regard to how we handle such phenomena. Also, we can see how fragile the balances can be economically. Romania, in turn, is facing the consequences of this epidemic and is subject to lessons, from which we hope we will all learn.
