The number of insolvents decreased by a quarter in the first ten months of the year
The number of companies and authorized natural persons entered into insolvency decreased by more than 26.42% in the first 10 months of 2019, compared to the similar period of the previous year, to 5,170 insolvencies, it appears from the data published on the website of the National Register Office Trade (ONRC).
By activity areas, between January and October 2019, the largest number of insolvencies was registered in the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, respectively 1,594 (minus 27.87%), in constructions – 777 (-27 , 38%), in the manufacturing industry – 623 (-26.01%) and in hotels and restaurants – 395 (-24.9%).
