The top ten players in the food trade raised more than 68 billion lei (14 billion euros) last year l These networks of more than 3,000 modern stores – hypermarkets, supermarkets, convenience stores, discount and cash & carry – operate on a total market of 21-22 billion euros where they fight with traditional players. In the modern local trade, the financial results for the last year did not bring major changes, only ascents, respectively descents of a position in the second part of the top ten.
