Direct flights to Munich from Romania’s Iasi airport
Romania’s Iasi International Airport will introduce direct flights to Munich, Germany, this autumn. Romanian state-owned airline Tarom will operate the flights twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, starting October 25.
“In the past two years, we had countless talks with many business representatives in Iasi. We had clear demands to open this route, given that we’ve already managed to bring other destinations, and I must say that this is a difficult route to open because it is not massively supported by ethnic traffic. Munich is the destination that will enable business growth in Iasi and thus contribute to our community’s well-being,” said Marius Bodea, president of Iasi International Airport Board.
