Romania rises again in the first position in the EU in the growth of retail trade, after a strong jump in December
In December, Romania had the largest annual growth of retail trade in the European Union, according to data published by the European statistical office, Eurostat. At the same time, the growth rate in the Romanian retail trade has accelerated, after 3 months of slowdown. Romania returned to the first position after, in November, it was surpassed by Hungary, depending on the evolution of the retail trade, descending to the second place for the first time in 5 months.
