Confidence in Romania’s economy continues to recover after the pandemic collapse. Strong return in construction and industry
The confidence of the population and companies in the economy continued to recover, in June, after the collapse registered against the background of the pandemic and the related restrictions. The fastest return was in construction and industry. According to data for June published by the European Commission, the ESI (Economic Sentiment Indicator), which measures confidence in the economy, rose to 77.2 points from 68.5 points in the previous month.
