The Romanian mergers and acquisitions market goes hand in hand with the private economy and consumption, so for about five years investors have turned their faces to the local market. Ileana Glodeanu, partner of the law firm Wolf Theiss, says that in 2019 there was expected to be at least one megatransaction, respectively a transaction with a value of over 500 million euros, which did not happen. Therefore, she hopes that in 2020 there will be one or more such moves.
