Italians from De’Longhi buy a new factory and expand production in Romania
De’Longhi Group, active on the Romanian market with production in Cluj, bought a hall in the town of Mădăras, Bihor county. Here the Italians will expand the production, taking over not only the 25,000 sq m industrial platform but also some of the equipment. The company from which the platform was purchased is Jasz Plaszt Ro, with turnover of 55 million lei, down 14% compared to 2017. This is an entrepreneurial business that entered Romania in 2010 with a greenfield investment. The transaction value was not communicated.
