The University of Oradea won a European project of 31.7 million lei (6.5 million euros) for the development of a smart industries technology transfer center.

The Smart industries Technology Transfer Center will have four laboratories (Manufacturing, Automation – Robotics, Industry 4.0 and Quality), and among the high-performance devices that students will find here is a CNC Laser machine tool – 5 axes, for prototyping and experimenting with innovative technological solutions, two robots for handling, assembly and processing or modern high-speed digital filming equipment.
