The Americans from ThoughtWorks take over the IT company Gemini Solutions
ThoughtWorks, a global software consulting company headquartered in the United States, has entered into an agreement to acquire Gemini Solutions, a software development and consulting services firm with a development center in Romania.
Founded in 2005 by a group of engineers from Silicon Valley, Gemini Solutions has over 170 engineers and operational staff in its headquarters in Bucharest, Cluj and Iasi.
“Since our inception, we have worked to help top organizations, regardless of size or maturity, flourish and thrive by providing them with exceptional software solutions. ThoughtWorks and Gemini Solutions have a common philosophy and dedication to customer success. We are excited for the opportunity to become part of a global leader in the IT industry. This acquisition is also proof and validation of the great talent and capacity of the Romanian IT sector, reasons why an international organization like ThoughtWorks would choose to invest in this market “, said Theo Nissim, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder of Gemini Solutions.
