The ranking of the largest sausage producers in Romania is occupied by the villagers from Unicarm, the prohoven from Cris-Tim and the Caroli group, owned by Mexicans from Sigma Alimentos. With cumulative business of over 3.2 billion lei, the first ten companies provide employment for almost 8,500 employees, in 2018, according to data from the National Trade Register Office (ONRC), transmitted at the request of wall-street.ro.
