The restaurant market in five of the largest cities in the country reached 14.1 billion lei in 2019, double compared to 2017 (study)

The total annual value of the market for cooked food (standard restaurants, fast food, canteens, pubs and supermarkets) in five of the largest cities in the country (Bucharest, Timisoara, Iasi, Cluj and Brasov) rose in 2019 to 14.1 billion lei, which is a doubling from the level of 2017, of 7.2 billion lei, reveals the study National Foodservice Research, carried out by Hospitality Culture Institute, independent institute of research, training and consultancy in Romania, which study the market and trends in HoReCa.
