Romania – fourth in the EU after the share of foreign companies in value added
The share of the gross added value brought by the subsidiaries of the multinationals in the Romanian economy increased in 2017 to 44.2%, from 43.3% in 2016, which puts Romania in fourth place in the European Union, after Ireland (62.8% ), Hungary (50%) and Slovakia (48.1%), data published by Eurostat on Tuesday shows.
